Logan Value is a unique value strategy which typically owns 25-30 large cap value stocks selected from a universe of 300 large cap companies. It combines two distinct strategies to form one portfolio:

Dividend Yield Strategy - 10 stocks
Intrinsic Value Strategy - 15 to 20 stocks

Logan's philosophy is that buying companies with a margin of safety - defined as stocks with an above average dividend yield or selling at discount from intrinsic value - can provide substantial upside market capture while limiting downside exposure. The approach results in no style drift, low turnover and lower than market risk (standard deviation). Logan's Value Strategy seeks to exploit emotional decisions of other investors.
